Completed Projects

God is certainly at work in the Bolivian jungle as evidenced by the numerous ways we have been able to upgrade our campus through generous donations from people like you.

  • Home Expansion at the Leones

La Casa de Los Leones is full of energetic young boys, and will be getting even fuller this year! With materials and man-power provided by donors and volunteers, we have expanded the back porch area into a third bathroom, permanent kitchen, and extra living space. We are almost done with the project and are currently finishing the shower stalls at the far end of the room.

  • Church Roof Repairs

Our church on campus was in desperate need of repairs as the sagging roof-line was making it unsafe to occupy the building. Thanks to the hard work of a missionary church group from Canada, the roof and ceiling have been replaced with materials that will last for many years worth of services and events.

  • Kitchen Remodel at the Hardings

Thanks to your help the biggest and most important house on campus now has a beautiful wrap-around countertop with room for everyone, three clean and functional industrial sinks, and space for cooking inside over a stove instead of outside on the fire.

  • Updated Electrical System

Life is a constant bustle of activity here, and electricity is an asset that lets us get through busy days with running water, lights, and working appliances. Thanks to your support we can provide consistent light and running water to our campus with a permanent power grid.

  • Security Wall

When we bring in children from dangerous situations, protecting them from their past lives is our priority. Because our property borders a highly-frequented highway, we will be upgrading our current barbed-wire fence and wooden gate to a brick wall and metal gate to ensure that only those we trust can enter. Thanks to you we already have the funds in hand for this project!

  • Truck Repairs

Without our truck we wouldn’t be able to get groceries or go to the river to swim on the weekends. Fortunately we were able to complete repairs using God-sent donations and now our primary means of transport is up and running again!

  • Washing Machines

Laundry is a never-ending chore here in Rurrenabaque just as much as it is in developed regions. Thanks to the donation of four washing machines, our house parents now spend less time washing clothes and more time nurturing the children who wear them.

  • Outdoor Kitchen at Las Lilas

At lot of time is spent cooking everyday and thanks to you La Casa de Las Lilas has a new kitchen. With the materials and man-power provided by donors and volunteers, we were able to finish the kitchen putting in counter tops, tile floors, plumbing and even purchased a new stove.
